Experience culture, shopping, biking or walking; everything is possible.

The location of Delftse Hout is unique. From the campsite you will reach the city center of Delft in a 15 minutes walk.

Delft is famous for its Delfts blue pottery, which is still handmade in the pottery factory ‘De Porceleyne Fles'.

The old city center offers many interesting sights, like De Nieuwe Kerk (The New Church), where you can find the grave tombs of Queen Wilhelmina, Prince Claus, Prince Bernhard and Queen Juliana; Het Prinsenhof, where Wilhelm van Oranje got killed and the brand new Vermeer center; where you can find out everything about this famous painter.
In Delft you are also at the right place for shopping. Between your shopping and your cultural visits, you can have a nice break on one of the many terraces!

Every Thursday there is a big market on the market square in the center of the city and a flower market in the Brabantse Turfmark neighbourhood. In addition, there is a vegetable and fruit market every Saturday and in the summer months you can find the weekly flea market along the canals.
