Delft Blues festival
27 February to 1 March
Every year in February, the largest indoor blues festival in the Netherlands takes place. During this weekend, there are a large number of free performances in various cafés in Delft.
CPC loop Den Haag
15 March 2026
The NN CPC Loop The Hague will take place on 15 March. Everyone can participate: young, old, trained, on foot or in a wheelchair, and it is more than just a running event. During the NN Half Marathon, for example, there are many historic buildings to see. Soaking up culture while running is best done during the NN CPC Loop in The Hague.
Keukenhof
19 March to 10 May
Keukenhof Flower Park in Lisse is the largest tulip garden in the world, with over seven million flower bulbs that are planted by hand every autumn. It is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Netherlands, attracting many foreign tourists.
Houttrail

Come running in Delft and the surrounding area. The routes follow unpaved paths as much as possible and are suitable for runners who want to get acquainted with trails, as well as varied and challenging enough for experienced trail runners.
National Museum week

Flag Day Scheveningen

Every year, Scheveningen celebrates Flag Day. The term “Flag Day” refers to the day on which fishing boats are decorated with flags and other festive decorations to mark the start of the herring season. On this day, the arrival of the new herring is celebrated, a tradition that dates back to the time when herring fishing was an important economic activity in the Netherlands.
