In 2006, the festival moved to its current, bigger, location in Rotterdam. This year, the organisation expects more than a thousand musicians, spread out over 150 performances and thirteen different stages. Though the numbers of visitors were between 65.000 and 70.000 in recent years, the festival still manages to retain its intimate character.

From the middle of June until the middle of August, is in Gouda the famous cheese market, behind the city hall.
The cheese market Alkmaar 2016 will take place from March 31st until September 29th, every Friday from 10 am until 12.30 pm on the Waagplein.
For three centuries are farmers from? the surrounding coming to the market in traditional costumes to show their centuries old cheese and to sell it. Once the deal is closed, cheese carriers use a barrow to take the sold cheese to the Waag, where it is weighed in the Waaggebouw. Currently, there are three pairs of scales: the lower, middle, and upper scale.
In the weekend of 15 and July 16, 2017 in Delft, the city of ceramics, Delft ceramics Days with international ceramics market Delft Ceramica. This unique event is organized this year by the Foundation in collaboration with: Royal Delft Factory, Happy Day Tours, Delft City Shuttle and Rondvaart Delft.

General Market: Every Thursday on the Market square with more than 150 stalls and every Saturday on the Brabantse Turfmarkt and the Burgwal (50 stalls).
Flower Market: On Thursdays the flower market can be found at the Brabantse Turfmarkt in the inner city ofDelft.
Antiques and Bric-a-Brac: The popular Antiques, Bric-à-brac and book market is on of Delft’s best kept secrets. But it’s a secret we gladly share with you. If you are into antiques, bric-à-brac and books, make sure you visit Delft on any Thursday or Saturday from April 12th until 13th October, right in the historic centre of Delft.
The Westland Floating Flower Parade is a unique and colourful annual event. In 2017 the flower parade will take place on 4,5 and 6 August. Some sixty magnificent boats decorated with flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables will sail a route of around 70 kilometres through the centres of the municipalities of Westland, Midden-Delfland, Vlaardingen, Rijswijk, The Hague and Delft. Admission to the parade is free.
Schollenpop stands for sun, sea, sand and of course live pop and rock music. Schollenpop takes place on the Zuiderstrand Beach in Scheveningen. The Schollenpop area is located next to the Southern breakwater.
On Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th of August and Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of August 2017 will be the spectacular firework event. During this event will show different countries their firework and they will battle for the ‘firework cup’.
The jazz festival in Delft has a big program in all kinds. You will find old jazz, new sounds and influences from other music styles, cultures and art.
It’s an open, spectacular and free festival.
