The Westland Floating Flower Parade is a unique and colourful annual event. Some sixty magnificent boats decorated with flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables will sail a route of around 70 kilometres through the centres of the municipalities of Westland, Midden-Delfland, Vlaardingen, Rijswijk, The Hague and Delft. Admission to the parade is free.
In 2006, the festival moved to its current, bigger, location in Rotterdam. This year, the organisation expects more than a thousand musicians, spread out over 150 performances and thirteen different stages. Though the numbers of visitors were between 65.000 and 70.000 in recent years, the festival still manages to retain its intimate character.
In the weekend of 18th and July 19th, 2020 in Delft, the city of ceramics, Delft ceramics Days with international ceramics market Delft Ceramica. This unique event is organized this year by the Foundation in collaboration with: Royal Delft Factory, Happy Day Tours, Delft City Shuttle and Rondvaart Delft.

The 24th edition of the Delft Chamber Music Festival is taking place in the historic city center of Delft in the summer of 2020. Artistic director Liza Ferschtman will invite (inter)national musicians to perform with her during ten beautiful festivaldays. The festival takes place in an informal setting at various locations in the old center of Delft and beyond. Ticket sales start online at the beginning of May 2020. read more

The cheese market Alkmaar 2020 will take place from March 27th until September 27th, every Friday from 10 am until 13.00 pm on the Waagplein. read more
The cheese market in Gouda 2020 will take place from April 2nd until August 27th. If you would like to visit the cheese market, make sure you are on time. In good weather, the event at the Markt attracts many visitors. The traditional cheese market takes place every Thursday morning from 10 to 12.30 hours. read more
