Kom in de kas:

On Saturday 4th April and Sunday the 5th of April 2020 is the Kom in de kas (Come into the Greenhouse). Kom in de kas (Come into the greenhouse) is the largest public event of the Dutch Greenhouse Horticulture. Hundreds of fruit, flower and plant breeders open their doors this weekend to welcoming the public. In several regions across the Netherlands, the public can come and see what's happening in the glass greenhouses

National Museum week:

In the week of the 20 till 26th April 2020 is the museum week. Activities and events are held throughout the week. More info per museum check or the site of the museum.

The Marathon of Rotterdam:

Date: 4th and 5th April 2020 
The Marathon Rotterdam has been the biggest one-day sporting event in the Netherlands. The world's top athletes will be at the start on the bustling Coolsingel, alongside thousands of other runners who will also triumph, each in their own unique way.

Flower Parade 2020:

On Saturday 25th of April 2020 the annual Flower Parade will travel its 40-km route along the main roads from Noordwijk to Haarlem. The procession will be comprised of 20 large floats and more than 30 decorated luxury cars, interspersed with a lot of music.

King's Day (formerly Queen's Day):

If you are into antiques, bric-à-brac and books, make sure you visit Delft on any Thursday or Saturday from April till September, right in the historic centre of Delft.

Cheese market in Gouda:

The cheese market in Gouda 2020 will take place from April 2th until August 27th. If you would like to visit the cheese market, make sure you are on time. In good weather, the event at the Markt attracts many visitors. The traditional cheese market takes place every Thursday morning from 10 to 12.30 hours. read more
