Delft

Experience culture, shopping, having a drink at the terrace, biking or walking. Everything is possible

From the campsite you are in the city centre of Delft in a 15 minutes walk.

The city hall

Delft is famous for his Delfts blue pottery, which is still hand made in the pottery factory ‘De Porceleyne Fles'.
The old city centre offers many interesting sights, like De Nieuwe Kerk (The New Church), where you can find the grave tombs of Queen Wilhelmina, Prince Claus, Prince Benhard and Queen Juliana, Het Prinsenhof, where Willem van Oranje got killed and the brand new Vermeer centre, where you can find out everything about this famous painter.
In Delft you are also for shopping pleasure at the right place. Between shopping and cultural visits, you can have a break on one of the many terraces.

Every Thursday there is a big market on the market square in the centre of the city and a flower market in the Brabantse Turfmark neighbourhood. In addition, there is a vegetable and fruit market every Saturday and in the summer months you can find the weekly flea market along the canals.

Signpost in the centreLike in every historical city, behind every alley, house and street name there is a centuries old story hidden. To give you the opportunity to get to know the rich history of our city, we offer our guests every Wednesday the opportunity to join the free walking tour through the centre of Delft.

Beside this city walk we organise bike tours on several days. Under leadership of our guide you will bike one evening through the centre of Delft, the other evening through the surroundings of the campsite and again another evening through the centre of the beautiful, old village ‘t Woudt.
